She developed her musical education
with a national teaching degree in Juan Pedro Esnaola Academy of Music in Buenos Aires, where she also held a teaching possition in Entry Level Musical Studies. She specialized in pedagogical areas, taking courses with Judith Akoschky and
Magdalena Fleitas and developed her musical skills with a three years degree on Tango and Folklore in the Manuel de Falla Musical Academy with Juan Falú. She dedicated three full years to study and investigate traditional wind instruments and ancient
singing techniques of the Andean cultures.
Since 2009 she has been part of a band of sikuris named El Ombligo and worked in the recording of their last album. Workd in the recording of the andean folk album "Alturas" with argentinian charango musician
and songwriter Pilo García. Also worked in the last recording, "Quiero Mirar", of the singer-songwriter Román Lacrouts. Mayra has performed in diverse stages ("Peñas") with many folk groups in Buenos Aires and
also held educative concerts as part of the Book Fair in this city. She participated in the "Desde la misma huella" Festival in the National Library concert hall, joining the songwriter and guitarist Juan Falú.
She also joined the composer and charango musician Pilo García in "Sonamos Latinoamrica", a festival held in the province of Santa Fe.
She has worked in many stages around America, like Cusco in Perú and Mexico, among others.
